Greetings! I have a 5 line Cricket Family plan that is working great, however my brother just bought a refurbished 9900 and he cannot set up his gmail account. When he goes into settings, it asks for his enterprise settings or something like that. I see there is mention of BIS, and other mentions that Cricket does not support this phone. He can make and receive phone calls and text. For what it's worth, I am using a Q10 without a problem.

Cricket operates on the ATT network, so I don't understand why we cannot set this up to access a gmail account. Thanks in advance!

You'll get voice and text only, data will be a mixed bag. Some data stuff MAY work via WiFi only but you will have difficulty since you will not be connected to the BIS. Cricket no longer supports any BIS BlackBerry services. Only BB10 devices and of course the Android based BB Priv are fully supported.

Email will not work if BIS is not supported by your carrier.
