    Got the bold 9930 again just a few weeks ago...decided that rather go through the Blackberry protect restore feature I would manually re-enter my contacts all over again. Then I started noticing that while some birthdays showed up on my calendar other's didn't. Now no matter what contact I add and no matter what date I add to their contact name their birthday will not show up on the calendar. Is this an OS problem? I'm running the latest OS which the phone came by 7.1.0.163.
    Anyway any thoughts on how to get the birthdays to show up in the calendar?

    I had the same thing with that OS. Upgrade to .342. It'll work just fine.

    It is a glitch with the 163 OS.

    ok cool so it is an OS issue.

    Is .342 an official build?

    Yes, .342 is an official release. Stay away from .402.
