Or you can just try BBX 10.0.9.1.2.7.2.9.899. That's the best OS available now.

The forums are seriously filled with questions like these.

I'm equally happy with 7.0.0.374 or 7.1.0.163 from Verizon. Both have their bugs, but what other choices are there really?

I've been using 7.1 for a couple of days, no issues yet, and I love the wifi hotspot which wasn't available in the 7.0 releases..

Does 7.1.0.163 fix the "bricking" problem reported so often on the 9930? Heard today from Verizon Tech Support that a fix was on the way and won"t upgrade to 9930 until this problem gets fixed.

Also: does/how much doesthe quicker processor on 9930 improve bridge-internet performance to the Playbook tablet?

    Thanks

In the past I've posted that Forum Moderator BigBadWulf believes 7.1.0.163 is the bricking fix for the 9930. I personally don't know, but many posters have had many incidents with .374.

As far as verizon tech supports goes there can't be anybody with less knowledge on issues. In all my years of experience with them.... they are clueless!!!
