All right. So I'm kinda pissed. Remember back when RIM had that BIS blackout incident? Well they gave out a bunch of paid apps for free and I managed to snag Screen Muncher Pro for free. Today I updated my phone to 746 on Rogers as they're my carrier. I went to install my apps and noticed it was missing from My World. So my question to all you fine folks in the CB Nation is, what's the best free screen cap app out there?

The one app that I use for screencaps and works really well (You can also adjust the picture quality of the screencap) is the one that comes with Advance OS & LED, I add it to my menu and whenever i want to take a screencap i press the bb menu and it'll say take screenshot.

Same here, I also use the screenshot feature of Advance OS & LED. It is simple and without watermarks.

Same here. AOSLED since it sends directly to PB without doing a thing!
And there is a free version of the app as well.

If you go into the "uninstalled" section of My World, you should be able to find the app there. Otherwise, I use Screen Grabber. I like it because the free version doesn't have a watermark and you can immediately post to Facebook/Twitter/share with a BBM contact.

Lol that sucks at least you have it back now... But yeah I use quicklaunch might be using AOSLED though from what I just read that it sends screen caps to PB. nice

It was a great app when it was free. Now you have to pay for the full version. You get a watered down one for free.
