What is meant by the SKU opening date? I was able to order my 8330 from VZW before it was released by having a VZW rep on the phone pull it up by the SKU code that was leaked on Crackberry. I received my phone a couple of days before it was released in the store. Will this be possible with the bold? Of course this happened before the days of early online orders.

    Me thinks,

SKU is used to track orders and inventory in stores and warehouses.

Think of SKU as a master tracking. with out it, you would have no count on devices. This has to be released in the system early to get orders in to stores, etc.

August 16th for Bell. That is what I have heard from a couple of sources at Bell.

I take all these dates with a grain of salt until it is officially announced.
