is there a way to adjust the brightness of this?
And can we turn the keypad lights off?
I got a charging cradle for my birthday and it works great.
I thought of using it as a new alarm clock, but it lights up the room.

bedside mode usually turns off all connections, keyboard backlight, and dims the screen to almost nothing..

try reboothing if it doesnt work again.

Be sure in the settings that you have dim screen ticked.

Before you go "reboothing", check the Bedside Mode options to make sure Dim Screen is enabled.

OK, I feel a bit silly (I do this a lot it seems)
The phone was set to 'clock' and not bedside mode for charging.
I thought it came with bedside mode as a default.
Well, you know what happens when you assume.
