    Since the onslaught of BB10 there hasnt been much about bbos apps. Having both 9900 and z10 im interested in both. But my question is... I bought bebuzz and beweather and see that are new versions of both in blackberry world. Please tell me bellshare arent expecting us to buy the upgraded versions of both these apps? I thought they had done away with this practice of ripping of customers for upgrades.

    Please someone from bellshare tell me that this isnt so?

    Yup exactly... the weather app I'm fuming about. The most expensive app Ive ever bought and now I have to pay for an upgrade too. Crooks!

    When you look at the version numbers of the beweather apps, it's the same version. I dunno wtf it is & I can't determine a difference by reading the descriptions either.

    Really? I'll have to take a look at that. Be Buzz jumped from 6-7 but there doesn't seem much that's different

    If you bought it years ago and it works fine then keep it that way. The constant updates probably took the developer a lot of time so he or she would like to get paid. If you don't support apps them you lose developers.

    I understand paying for an app twice sucks but think of how many updates you got from the last time you paid for it.

    This developer has previous complaints for the same thing. There are bugs in Bebuzz so to release an app re branded when it's effectively an update and charging people for it is wrong. I've already supported them buying Bebuzz on 9900 and z10 as well as beweather on 9900 I shouldn't have to pay for an update, it's bad business.

    does anyone using bebuzz have an issue with the disco police lights? mine since the update is a rapid flash. so quick that it looks like 1 flash of two colors

    No I don't have that problem, sorry. Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling? Only issue with disco lights recently was that LED notification strangely alerting me to the wrong person. After deleting and reinstalling it was fine

Its showing "activation failed" Tried to contact [email protected] but no help from anywhere. Even raised the ticket. can Somebody pls help me out. I have OS 7.1 and BeBuzz Pro version 1.1.53.

    I think Bellshare has been having a bad few days. Since Tuesday Night, my BeWeather (2.7.12) has been totally losing its connection (500 errors). And I'm ruling out connection problems on my side as it has happened in a few locations (home wifi, work wifi, cell network).

    It's been acting wonky past few days, I have 5 locations besides home and not all are updating at set interval or on refresh. And, for the record I bought the BB10 version for my Q10 and went I downgraded to Bold 9930, the app just loaded and worked with no additional charges.

    It seems they are not anymore concerned about the BlackBerry Users. They have android and iPhone users in the market now. They don't even have toll free numbers. They are not even responding to mails. Everyday I am sending one mail and raised two tickets. Regretting why did I buy this crap app. :'(

    Same here. No response to ticket at BellShare. The Dev visits CB but seems to be hiding right now.

    Avoid BellShare apps like the plague!
