When I had my 9780, I used to get a message that BB Protect is not available for my carrier or something like that.

So I called my carrier, and within 1 week, they updated the service books and it was working fine

Now with the 9900 I am getting the same message. But I thought my carrier already did add BB Protect to the service books so what gives?

I did call them to log a complaint to their technical department, but I was wondering, since it was already working on the 9780, is there anything special I can do?

I did resend my service books and do a battery pull but no luck.

    Help please

All I know is that I am a BES user, and we don't get BB Protect.

If you're a BES user you don't really need BB Protect.
