Good morning. I just got a new bb bold from sprint and I like it very much. Coming from a HTC evo its taking sometime to get used to. I set up the wifi and on the evo once the wifi was on it used wifi for everything From sms, pics, browser, updates, apps, etc. On this bold 9930 it connect perfectly. But I always see the up/down arrows going crazy every time I send a txt, upload a new app, go to you tube, so I think this wifi Is not doing anything. It says is connected but I don't see it working. Please help! Thanks.

I'm probably not knowledgeable enough about those up/down arrows and/or wifi to answer. But if you experimented and turned off your data connection but left wifi on, you might determine if wifi were working and if those arrows show anytime data is moving to/from device and not if only using the data network??????

I think those arrows show even with wif as I just tried but don't trust me!

If you have universal search on, from the home screen, start typing "mob" and Options should show. Tap or select it and got to Mobile Networks, turn them OFF. Try browsing. It should be using wifi, I __THINK__. Search for mob again to turn them back on if necessary.
