    Using my BB 9930 yesterday and it suddenly shut off and now its a black screen. I tried a battery pull, using the desktop software and it doesn't power up. Can't get anything going on it, any suggestions? Is it bricked?

    Bricked as in completely no way to wipe and restore to default settings?

    Start with the basics battery pull and ensure battery is fully charged. Then connect to Desktop. If no success then take it to your service provider for repair. If It is bricked(sounds bricked) they will fix it in a couple hours.

    Restore default settings by the service provider not by the part time Mr. Fix it who posts here.

    I tried all the battery pulls, desktop manager software and its not even being recognized. Went to VZW store, and that was useless. Called VZW corporate and they were kind enough to send a new one as I'm only 1 month out of the 1 yr warranty.

    Glad to hear they are getting you a replacement. Like you I had to find a proper repair people at my provider this can be difficult due to hiring of teenagers who they do not train.
