    Hi, I have a BB9930 from Sprint, my screens says "Activation Required", I know that I've to purchase a MSL unlock code, my questions is:
    Can I update my device OS without having any issue with the "Activation Required"?

    BTW I live outside USA.

    Well I have updated and switched OS' on devices that aren't active, so I'm pretty sure you will be able to when activation is required. Just use the BB Desktop Manager.

    Well I do a clean install.

    Wipe, shrink and install.
