I am in a fringe signal area where often the 9930 (no signal champ in itself) displays either 3G or 1X.

Quite often when the signal goes to 1X I find that suddenly the signal goes crazy with constant sending and receiving.

This continues until a reboot/battery pull or until the BB goes dead.

Anyone else seen this?

(I do realize that rogue apps could also be the cause of this)
