    My phone overheated a few days back and wouldn't turn on anymore, I did have my phone my phone replaced by best buy (blacktie protection). But the batterry is still the same. The phone won't charge pass 20% and no idea why. Best buy protection plan doesn't cover the batteries supposively even thought at my hometown best buy she said the battery was covered. Cause if I got water damage on the phone they would of covered the battery too under the protection plan.

    Sounds like you've fried the battery. Can you try another one to rule it out?

    I'd have to agree with Phil. You can get batteries pretty cheap on ebay.com
