    Hi guys,

I recently bought my blackberry bold 9900 from Hong Kong and my contract included an extra battery.

I wanted to test out the battery life with the extra battery and turned off my phone, changed the battery and turned it back on. However, a lot of the changes I made to my contacts and app settings disappeared.

I suspect that its possible that the phone didn't turn off properly and I pulled it a little too early.

As a side question, is possible to have the phone automate a function whereby it deletes duplicate contacts?

    Looking forward for your advise!.

Try unchecking the "allow duplicate entries" in the address book properties.

    Hi All,
I too had issues with battery life. Like you I searched the web for a solution and found the upgrade of the latest OS v7.0.0.440 for BlackBerry Bold 9900 has helped a lot.

I can receive 200 emails, 20 text, and have 3 hours of solid talk and still have battery of just under 45%

Will be interesting once an "official solution" will be release.

    Hope this helps
    Tim
