So as normal I charge the phone to full before zzz, and well int he AM
it was less than half dead, and since then its been getting worse
day in and day out.

I am not sure if this is a battery problem or software

but I know one thing .. it can't last, running OS .428
anyone else having this freak power drops

Have you tried turning 'battery drain trends' on via the 'Battery tests' option under the built in device analyzer? this will allow you to see what programmes are using most CPU time and could help you identify the sudden battery drain.

Are u sure thats its actually charging? I had this same problem, I plugged it in to find it almost dead, hours later.

I did a quick battery pull and it started charging again.

The battery analyser actually detected that my mobile connection accounted for 72.8% drain I've changed to Edge all to no avail. I guess battery drain is a problem I'd have to live with. Sad really!
