    @ dimitrakis

Not to discourage you though, I found Meterberry 'a bit of a battery hogger' & have recently uninstalled it. I find my battery life better.

However, Meterberry apart from giving you battery info is otherwise also an excellent Apps.

Are you on the newest operating version, 7.1.0.342? The battery usage is MUCH improved over earlier versions. There is also a built in battery monitor (kind of)/batter save mode device with a "activate power save mode" when battery life falls below a specified percent that the user can choose.

I think, with the new Device Info(Device Analyzer) feature build into the new OS 7.1s, you don't have to download an app to check battery drain. The only thing that would be nice if RIM made a shortcut on the main screen to access it.

Device Analyzer doesn't help the OP at all. He is looking for an app that shows an icon for the battery as a percentage in the notification bar.

Oops, missed that point... Then there are several other apps like SixTools can do it too. So depend on what other feather he/she wants, the OP can pick from several apps out there.

I agree... It would be much nicer to check it quickly. That's one reason I keep Meterberry on my BB. I have had no difference in battery life with or without it.

Plus, with Meterberry, you can monitor signal too.
