check to see if you have too many apps running. hold the menu key and you have to "close (menu key > close)" each app

also, there may be an app(s) that constantly update itself (eg. Facebook, Weather apps, memory cleaners, etc). you can disable those

if you tried to setup all settings/applications it's hard to say it's whetever your battery, OS, phone etc issue.
try to manage your settings and set them up on low, close applications you don't use, try to set application update rate to high etc.
you could try out the latest leak. 7.1.0.267. many are using it, so you try it out.
Leaked OS 7.1.0.267 for BlackBerry Bold 9900 Findings and Fixes

First I'd load the leaked 7.1.0.267 for your phone. That OS has battery saver mode, and a device analyzer which allows you to run battery tests, as one of the checks. Run that and see if it helps any bit.

Also make sure you're not running anything in the background, and check to see what's eating up you battery. To check this go to options->device->application management. Go to the CPU and see for the week or today what is running.

I did the same thing, and my battery is still giving me grief. I think my battery is bad, going to get a spare battery and a battery charger let that $#!+ charge at my desk while im at work. lol

I charge twice a day. Full charge at night and then charge in the morning before I leave. Then, to solve mid-day crisis, I just make sure I have my car charger with me.

As posted above, try checking apps running in the background. Also, I make use of the auto on/off function at night when I dont need it. I just make sure it turns on by itself a few minutes before the time I set my alarm to wake me up.

Good luck.

like sharma0702 said give it a try, maybe your battery will be better on it.
aslong if you have tried everything it wouldn't hurt it to give it a shot.
i guess you are on .585 with that battery drop issue?

Hockey1599 - you should try official OS 7.1.0.205 or leaked if you are like me where I cannot find my carrier supporting it. Then go social feeds and turn off integrated applications and notifications. Also reduce your screen display to 10%. See if it works. Just my two cents worth.

dead is like in this way '' not many peoples are using it anymore ''
most are sitting on the 7.1.0.267 OS. i would say just do it and see it for yourself.
