I've seen a ton of ppl on this board post about how their battery life on the bb 9900 is terrible. Someone posted on here last week that it actually helps to turn off battery saving mode. I was very skeptical that this would work as it doesn't really make any sense but I tried it anyway. I turned battery saving mode completely off and left on application resource monitor on. My battery now lasts 4-6 hrs longer than it did and went from being completely terrible to half decent. If your having battery problems give it a shot!

Just turned it off. I wonder if the same logic would apply to my bank account.... spend more and have a bigger balance. Ill try that one next!!!

My solution to this problem was to leave battery save on and purchase a second battery. I change them every week. This has made my enjoyment of my 9930 awesome. Mke sure that when u remove the battery that you are deleting unwanted texts,email. Also clear your browser history.

edit:do this BEFORE you change batteries.

If you're going to try out the bank account, feel free to spend some of that cash on me! Let me know how taking your phone off of battery saving mode treats you!

I turned off battery save mode. I had an issue with my screen brightness level suddenly dimming and then getting bright again. Turning battery saver mode off seemed to fix that screen dimming issue. Also bought a 2nd JM 1 battery as the original one is 1 year 4 months old. We expect a lot from those little inexpensive batteries ,don't we ?

I dont think it made much difference in the first 24 since changing it. Bank account didnt get any bigger after spending more either.

Glad it worked for you! Same thing helped my gf's curve 9320 battery life as well.
