So I noticed the other week that my phone would drain quickly and always cut out when in its holster and it would take several battery pulls to re-start. After a bit more of the same hassle as well as draining the battery complelty while the phone is off. I rang Orange and got a new phone on my insurance (on top of �25 excess) but I didn't get a new battery the same day I got a bran new phone it drained quickly and cut out again so I assumed it was a battery issue so I got a new battery this Monday and it is STILL draining quickly and still draining like mad when the phone is off.

The only thing I have kept from the old phone is the media card. Could it be a media card issue? On my media card I have 1.7GB out of 1.8GB free space so it's not full or anything.

Please help.

Something to think about is whether there is a rogue app running. Also, it might even be that bad reception is causing it, such as a tower suddenly down.

I suggest checking your apps first. Delete what you've got and then intall each at a time.

Also look at your device monitor.
