I had to buy a replacement (ebay/used) for a 'bricked'9930. The battery charge time is very slow on the 'new one' - I am using same battery as on my old one, which always charged pretty fast. The old 9930 did have OS 7.1x. This new one I'm charging has 7.0. It powered up ok, tho the battery was fully dead when I installed it,....it's been at least 5 hrs since plugging it in for charge and it is just now at 70% - where it has stayed at least for an hour.

Any thoughts on whether there might be a defective device, OS problem, etc.?

P s- phone has not even been activated on Sprint yet FWIW....wanted to fully charge first.

Ok, but I just checked it after another 5 hrs of reading "95%" -- pulled and replaced battery and the reading then indicated 90%. I plugged it back in.... This battery is same as from the unit I'm replacing- it always charged relatively fast and showed/held a 100% reading on that phone. -- UPDATE-- 100 appearing after the 2nd battery pull!
(Lightning bolt icon still flashing tho). Hope it holds a charge - won't know til tmrw or so.
