I have blackberry 9900, for the past 2 to 3 days, i'm noticing my blackberry battery is acting funny, like its charging and discharging very weird.
It charges slow when my network is on EDGE and charges little bit faster if my network is set to 3G. I usually use my blackberry on EDGE.
Just now, my network was off cause my battery was on 2%, as soon i connected the charger and kept it for like 30 secs, the battery level jumped to 15% within 30 secs. I disconnected my device from the charger, as i needed to message someone urgently during that time.
I do use battery saving mode which is set to "Always on" and i'm using the normal default battery, bought the device as brand new, its just 11 months so far. My OS version is 7.1.0.342
