How long can you keep a fully charged extra battery before it drains?

It will vary quite a bit, depending on condition of the battery and environmental conditions. Maybe someone has done some testing, so I'll bump your thread in case anyone has a better answer.

a looong time. its not recommended because it will destroy the life span
