Ok...I had been running 7.1.342 for awhile with no serious issues and all of the sudden my screen was stuck on auto-dim, even though it is not checked. I've tried changing the setting around and I cannot get the feature to turn off. I even just upgraded to .391 to see if that would make it stop...no luck. I turned off and on Battery Saver mode, multiple reboots etc...and yes I know where to find the option and turn it off or on.
For those in the future that may search for this issue...here was the problem. After reinstalling the OS I went to restore some of my settings from my memory card and noticed it was saying there wasn't any...so took out memory card and rebooted phone and now auto-dimming is fine again...not sure how the memory card effects that feature but that was clearly the issue...
