Earlier this month my 9900 bricked itself overnight. I loaded the latest OS 7.1 and now everyone I use an app that uses the GPS it causes my phone to crash and reboot. This happens everyone I use BB Traffic and Poynt. This is really frustrating and disappointing since I've been happy with the phone until the bricking. I'm hoping someone can help with this issue before I waste time yet again to reimage the phone.
Try testing the GPS using Device Analyzer. If there's a problem there, reload your carrier's "official" OS. If then the problem still persists, return the device for warranty repair/replacement.
