I wouldn't say that it automatically improves battery life. It likely identified something that was too hungry, and shut it down, and you missed the notification somehow To monitor your battery consumption, find, under Options|Device|Advanced System Settungs|BlackBerry Device Analyzer|Battery Tests. Once you choose one of the tests, you'll later get graphs and details, struck every hour, that will show top processes and other stats.
thanks
but how do i delete the icon on the top of my main menu?
You can move it to a folder or hide the icon.
Hover over the app, click menu, then hide icon.
I find Resource Monitor to be a pain. I never use it. In fact, I shrink it out of all my installs.
I find it more than annoying when it shuts down an app I have running. I wouldn't be running the app if I didn't want it running! LOL
Useless to me.
its note the icon of the app i want to delete...its the small notification icon that i always have on screen when im running the app monitor resource..
but since i install the app and she is running i have an huge improvement on battery life.....
the only app that resource monitor close against my order is EveryLock...
I believe you are referring to the icon that pops up when resource monitor shuts down an app and you can see it if you tap on the bar the icon is showing on the home screen. Then it should show at the bottom of the screen what resource monitor did and clear the icon.
