I had some battery issues when I first got the phone, but it's settled down and I get a full day's charge now. I do keep wifi on when in my home, then turn off when out-and-about. I think that helps. My phone never actually "dies'', just runs low near the end of the day, and I'm not used to seeing that because my 9700 could go for several days without being recharged. But I power off and charge every night when I go to sleep so a full day is good enough for me.
I haven't had any problems with my 9930...I'm left with about 50% power after a long weekday (6:30 am to about 10:00 pm). Of course, I use mine more for texting, email, and web than for calls.
I got another battery that is the Korea/China combo and have noticed that my battery life has increased by 20%. Before in 5 hours on just standby I would lose 10% battery life. Took it off charger at 10:30 pm and the next day at 10-11 pm still had 20% juice left.
Today I was showing 70% still available almost 8-9 hours later, pulled the battery to swap sim and now it showed 60% but still not bad.

Same experience here. Luckily, I'm in a strong 3g signal area at work and home, but my commute between the two takes me in and out of signal. Found the battery life much improved after a couple of weeks charging and a total wipe/restore of the OS (.296 on Voda). Wonder if there was some Voda cr*pware on there?
