When Sprint released their version of the 7.1 OS I had this problem maybe 2 days or so after a reboot. I reloaded this specific OS a few times and noticed this problem occurring each time. I then switched over to Verizon's version of the 7.1 OS and that problem went away, however with Verizon's I never made it past 2 days without it rebooting itself. Thing is I also reloaded theirs and the reboot keep happening to me. So far with the leaked 7.1 neither has happened yet and I'm already on 4 days...

Just updated my OS.

Everything seems smooth, a few noticeable changes (nothing major). I also notice a new pushed app Caller ID. Too bad it aint free

We'll see if the bugs still persist in this version...

If you're still having this "deaf silence" issue (I'm coining it that by the way) then I guess .267 won't fix it.

Hopefully, my alarms work. My Calendar notifications worked. Reminded me about a conference call tonight without a hitch...

By the way I am hearing a strange "blib" when doing battery pull... Then phone return ok. What is this sound? Seems related with a audio connection that return to life.. Very strange

not having either of those issues on 267. Already used almost 300 minutes since loading on Sunday, at least 45 calls. Several alarms and reminders also working properly.

I have yet to experience that issue yet. All of my calls both incoming and outgoing are very clear.

SO.... 7.1.267 does not fix it

It just happened to me again.

This time it happened when I tried to make an outgoing call, I get a "Call Failed" notification, and turns out someone was trying to call me the same time I was making a call. When I clicked the Answer button to pick up the person's call, I didn't hear anything nor did they hear me...

No need to be pissed off, just do a warranty repair or exchange and be done with it. It is a defective headset port, simple as that!

Has nothing to do with the headset port. It's happening without any headset connected, just a normal call. It's not happened to me in a while, but others are stating still happening with 267.

I had the same problem, now solved. It was caused by the operator credit message sent at the end of each phone call.
