Hi,

I upgraded my desktop and device software last week, and have been unable to sync with Outlook using desktop manager ever since. Spent hours working on it myself, and more hours on the phone with tech support, and still no go. So, I'm trying to find a work-around. I've read about web calendar solutions, like using an outlook.com account, and using EAS to sync, but I think that only works with BB 10. I've got a Bold 9900. Any suggestions? Getting really frustrated here, and wishing I hadn't bothered with the upgrade!

I can hardly remember back to when I had my 930 (loved it!!). But what about a Google calendar? I used my Google email account for the calendar and kept it on the web and it syncs to the phone. Can you try that?
I'm sorry I can't help you with outlook.

I am an Apple user, and the situation is even worse ever since I upgraded the OS to Maverick.
While it is not about the outlook.com, Apple took away the sync function.
Anyway, I am now using "Sycamatic" solution that is free, straight forward and easy. I finally have a solution to have my calendar properly reflected in my 9900.
However, I am using a free web solution, and if you do not mind duplicating your calendar input in their web site, it works flawlessly both ways.
They have a program to sync your calendar (outlook too) directly, but it had some hefty price tag ($50/60 or so). But it sync not just calendar, but also contacts, notes and tasks as well.
