As the BB 10 launch nears you will see the prices get lower. The carriers like to clear inventory before a new product arrives.

I'm amazed at the price of the Bold.

For a struggling company, the darn bold is like gold. Craigslist and Ebay prices are still way high for used models of 9900/9930.

Androids and iPhone drop like rocks, but this phone holds strong.

There are probably a few reasons for this (and one or two of those reasons might not be good news!)

As soon as AT&T can find a way to make up the discount by charging you for something else. Also you can get different prices from them for the same phone 1. Internet Price 2. In Store Price 3. Call in to order price. I was with them for 9 years and I got a great deal on my 9930 from Sprint. Do yourself a favor and leave them.

I also purchased a refurb from at&t and I couldn't be happier. I originally bought an atrix 2 but it was dropping calls and it was uncomfortable to hold. My bold came in a brown box from at&t with a charger, ear buds, and a few papers/manuals. The phone is in great shape and with the new os it's getting great battery life. I highly recommend getting a refurb I love this phone!

Keep checking Amazon. They love their 1c smartphone sales. I have a strong feeling that the 9900 will be a good candidate for the next sale...

There are no discretionary purchasers of a Blackberry.. hence there is no need to compete on price..

Your best bet is not to watch ATT, but rather, monitor places like Amazon and Bestbuy around holiday weeekend.. I got the 9930 on a weekend sale at BB for $99..
