I could just be having a blond moment... But this isnt working for me.
So you go to your options while in the browser and click manage search engines then add new search engine. .

    NAME______________________________

    ADDRESS___________________________
Insert %s in the address where the search term should appear.

I tried everything with no result help please!

Thanks it worked. Seriously could they have made that any harder? Was it just me? Like does the average person know that?

No, it wasn't just you... I found it through searching a few months ago. Was driving me nuts too. So I saved the link in my memopad just incase I lost it or if someone on here asked.

Did you try opening the browser>menu>options>manage search engines>select Google for the default? It took me a bit to find this, but I didn't have to type in any Google address to add it on. By using this way, you don't have to worry about losing the address if something goes wrong.

Also, I'm on AT&T 9900 - os7.0.0.576 (official os). I'm not sure if that makes a difference in options for the browser.

Edit: Google was already in the list of options that BB gave me (along with Bing, Wikipedia, yahoo, etc.).
