Hey, so m y contract is coming up and im justa texter who likes to surf the net but is the bolds touch screen too small to be usable. I have quite skinny fingers btw cause my mum and dad were like do you want the bold or torch and i just don't know if the bold 9900 will be as usable as the 9810. Can you guys use the screen on the bold fine ?

I use my 9700 for web browsing and that has an even SMALLER screen than the 9900 and I came from a Storm1 upgrading to the 9700. I have to say I missed the extra screen realestate at first but I got used to the smaller screen and didn't care about the screen loss. Ive used my brothers 9900 and it seems to browse the web VERY good. He seems to not notice a difference between his new 9900 and his old 9800. Says he could care less that he went to a smaller screen its just as usable. ALSO I do believe the 9900s screen is wider than the 9800/9810 so because you read text on a webpage that runs the length of the page it will be easier to read with the wider screen even If you do have to scroll down a bit more than you would on the 9810. I will be getting neither of these phones however so dont assume I have a bias for the 9900. I want the 9860.

If you like a physical keyboard then get the bold. If you like a touch screen then get the torch. One just has a bigger screen and you will have more real estate as far as your screen goes. Personally I am switching from a touch screen to a physical keyboard.
