    My 9930 used to record videos in 3GP format, now it records in MP4 format. Does anyone know why this changed? Is it some setting I changed? (I can't find it now if I did). Or was this part of a software upgrade?

    Which OS are you running? I'm guessing it's part of 7.1.
    I have a video that was taken while running 7.0.0.374 which is in the 3GP format and now I'm on 7.1.0.267 and just did a test video and it came out as a MP4.

    The change is probably to have more consistency between the PlayBook and phones since the PlayBook records in the MP4 format as well.

    Personally, I welcome this change!

    OK That makes sense. I have 7.1 as well and it must have been that. I just wonder if the quality is noticeably different?
