I have a 9650 and considering an upgrade to the 9930 however the 9650 suffers from a notable problem of wear on the e, s, d keys..
Given that i will need to keep this for 2 years vs 1 previously can any early adopters of the 9900/9930 comment about wear so far?
I'm a heavy text/email person and I haven't had any wear and tear on my keys on my 9650. I have had that happen on some previous devices though. I also do a lot of the same on my 9930, and so far I haven't noticed any wear on the keys.

I wore the keys out on my 9700, to where most of the keys have worn ridges (from the raised portions of the keys) so that the keyboard's backlight shines through. I'm waiting for this to happen also with my 9900. So far, the only thing that's worn is the dimple on the D key. It's just a precursor of more wear to come....I do type quite a bit. I wish they would color the plastic of the key and not just paint them, so this wouldn't happen.
the only wear and tear was caused by my cousin's long nails.. on the button Y.
it's hard to notice since it's a . dot but you can see it when put your eyes on it closely.
but it's okaay, i don't mind it at all, if it wears all off completly.
then i buy a new replacement keyboard, the phone is geared with a OEM softshell +
screenprotector, and i put it in my pockets everyday, so far all good.
