the 9900 when answering a call just picking it up off the table the speaker comes on. and every one can hear the conversations sometimes have to push the speaker a couple of times to turn off. anyone have this problem. haven't been on the 9900 in a while but if there's no fix it will go back in the box.

that is already set to No. I reloaded the OS it will not sync contacts and there's a OS update that blackberry link will not load I keep getting a error when trying to load it. the phone is unlock from telus and I'm using it on tmobile.
not sure if that's blocking the update I tried with the sim card out no luck. would like to continue to use it till the classic comes.
any ideas on getting the contacts to load

Need to have SIM card in place, that way 9900 connects to your carrier and BIS. Sure, you can surf web on WiFi only, but to synch contacts you need to have the SIM card inserted.

Setup\Email Accounts\Internet Mail Account or Enterprise Account\Select account\Edit\Synchonization Options\Select Contacts\Save

Forgive me, but on power-up. did you sign in with a valid Blackberry ID?
