Hi guys just new here. I know this has been posted several times or more, but my sim reader was damaged and my problem is I've had it replaced and it still will not work. Im not too clever with phones and software etc so any help or a point in the right direction would be great.

have you tried wiping ya sim card on your shirt? then insert your sim card back in the phone

Tryed several different sims of different networks still no joy whatsoever I'm getting quite frustrated with the whole situation as the phone is literally only 3 months old and in good condition and i just don't know what to do

Yeah i had one fitted on thursday and its still saying insert sim, the guy who fixed it was even confused as to the source of the problem

Which part of the settings? Data and roaming are on and network mode is 3g and 2g

I think ive voided the warranty due to the fact it got repaired at a small mobile repair store

try 3G on its own and try 2G on its own have you tried putting sum paper in with the sim card to keep it firmly down

Yeah tryed that also, il try the 3g and 2g separately just now

No the sim card is perfectly secure

Whoever did the repair didn't do a good job. Try to resolder all the connections and see if it works again

I will take the phone to another store and hope it can be resolved. Appreciate all the help here as i really am totally confused about this sim reader problem
