Is my brand new 9900 supposed to work when I get it?
All is has is a small battery on the screen with a RED X on it and an hourglass spinning around. It's been plugged in for 2 hours now.
Sorry to say this is a defective battery. I had the exact same issue with my brand new Bold 9900. The supplier sent a new battery and that worked straight away.
Alright, just got off the phone with Telus support. (They could not have been nicer) This is a KNOWN issue with the 9900. Spectacular! They are sending me another one today and a "mailer" to return the broken one.
