    Default 9900 Just passed away =(

    Took out the sim to test another phone for a friend. Popped it back into the 9900 and it wont start up, tried diff battery's and diff chargers, no dice she is gone. #sadface

    Av you connected it to bb desktop? To see if anything comes up?

    It sounds strange that swapping out the SIM would brick it. I'd try booting it without a SIM or SD card inserted and see if you can get it to boot. I'd also plug it in to your PC and see if the desktop software finds it.

    Tried all the above mentioned. No dice. I tweeted @BlackBerryHelp and hope they can provide a solution. Thank you for your suggestions guys! hope you all had a good Christmas.

    have you tryed connecting it to computer with bb desktop open and leave it for 5 min to see if it dose anything?

    Oh ya I have left it in all sorts of things plugged in. I got it as an unlocked bell unit, so I will have to see if its still under warranty. Don't suppose we have any bell reps on here?

    Thank god I work for a wireless carrier and have a 9790 device seed to me, otherwise I would have had to get a cheapo BlackBerry Curve to tide me over till BB10. kronic_yute you have any luck with your BB?
