    Default 9900 Endless Restarting Loop

    Hi,

I'm new here but a bit experienced with BB's. I just bought a 9900 , 3 days ago. The battery Life has been superb and its been an amazing experience. I was updating my App World, the phone told me it required a restart. As soon as the restart finished, the phone has been stuck in endless restarting loop. Im losing my mind here.

I already tried using the app loader to load the os back but to no avail. I have the phone running the latest OS .439. There was 60% battery in the phone when this endless loop started.

Any suggestions apart from giving it to the service center would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Sarthak

P.S. - i was reading the restore your nuked bb guide and in the apploader when the option for connection comes and your pin is to be shown as USB:UNKOWN , mine shows my BB Pin

can you get to the app screen? Remove the app (all via apploader)

the AppWorld update 102'd my phone.

or try upgrade to leaked 440.

    @Fubaz

Im trying to update or reinstall the OS through DM, im following this KB on Blackberrys Site.

I shall try the option to go to the leaked version if this does not work.

The best part is my phone is just stick in endless restarting and is not giving any error message

    Quick Update

Its working for now, just restoring all my data and downloading the apps again. Worked by Updating the OS through DM.

I KNEW APP WORLD WAS BROKEN.

App World breaks your WLAN .cod. you need to reload a fresh one.

    At least I had to.

    439 isn't sufficient? I've read that 440's had a lot of problems.
