I simply bought on ebay that new Gold 2430 mAh battery: it's a little havier than the orginal battery but it lays perfectly in the battery compartment. My 9900 now lasts two days on average use: a ton of sms, 30 emails per days, at least one hour and half or two of calls, some navigation and even a bit of whatsapp. Anyone uses it BB in a different way than each other so also battery drain may change. But this battery really changed my phone. I'm really happy with it.

That's true, when I received the battery it was just inside a plastic bag with no protection. But it arrived safe and it's working really really well on my device. Since you're advised the battery might be shipped with no protection, you can ask the seller to wrap it inside some protective stuff...!

The decoder is for "copying" the code from the original battery to the new one. It seems just copying it once is enuff.

Honestly, I dont know how many mAh it actually is. I just know battery life has almost doubled.

Actuallly Seido stated awhile back that they were not going to be making an Extended Battery for the 9900...they came up with something way different that I have yet to use because I'm close to my charger and are not traveling at the moment or am at a place that consists of waiting a looooooooong time. (example: AAC event)

Interesting find. While I find it highly doubtful they can pack that many mAhs into the same size pack (why wouldn't we see these for sale all over the place) I am curious. The seller has great sales, 15900 positive reviews vs 186 bad reviews in one month. Like a 1% unsatisfied rate. Not bad considering he is selling all types of junk. In the positive reviews there are many happy new battery owners...

Would like to see someone who buys one of these put a multimeter up it so we can see what it looks like at full charge. Mystic84, any chance you can test it out to see what it reads? Pretty easy to do in the aisle at Home Depot or Radio Shack

Yes I saw these, except the one with the gold wrap. Maybe overlooked.
However, the vast majority of all reviews on ebay is positive.
I hope its not a fake, as I ordered one. Will report.

this could put you in a sticky situation if you have to reboot your phone while your on the road and you dont haev the original battery and cloner with you

I refuse to buy knockoff batteries for simple reasons like all the negative comments stating it is fake. I hate scamming bishes!

I will stick with switching out batteries and or just charging more. To heck with coding it a bunch of times. No way I would do that.

There are tons of topics, posts and suggestions on how to improve battery life on a 9900: keep backlight at the lowest level, close apps you're not using, upgrade to the newest OS's. Okay, right. But this battery really marked a turning point on my device.

What can I say? I'm not sure this battery is a fake or not, neither I can say it's actually 2430 mAh or 1900 mAh. What I can say for sure is that I now can get thru two full days before pulling the device to the battery charger.

@zipped: I dont have a multimeter. How can I test that?

EDIT: I havent had to do any battery pulls yet, so I'm not sure you just need to clone the battery once, but another italian guy who's using it, claims he had to clone it just the first time than was okay despite many battery pulls.

Can't you just go check how many mAh it is?

Go in the BlackBerry engineering Screen on your phone...
First, press alt + shift + h,
Then visit this website enter your info: Blackberry eScreen keygen
It will give you a key, enter it on your BlackBerry screen

By the way, anyone can do whatever he wants with this battery. I'm not trying to tell you to buy this battery. I'm just reporting it's improved my 9900 life and I'm reporting my experience. If you fell comfortable with it, you can try it. If you guess it's a fake battery or believe it wont ever improve you device autonomy, you're not forced to.
