I have been using my old 8530 charger to see if the lower charging rate would result in longer battery life and I have to say it does.

    9930 charging rate is 750mah
    8530 charging rate is 700mah.
I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but it has made a difference for me.

I went back to the 9930 charger today and I am down more juice today than I used to. And I have less usage today so far.

I'm gonna stick with the 8530 charger for now on.

    Hmmmm...... may try it.

How much more juice are you getting from the 8530 charger? Do you have meterberry? any sort of comparisons you can make to justify your find ??

I may try this.. Cant hurt.

The discharge rate of any battery has nothing to do with how fast it's charged. Rapid charging a battery may affect it's useful life but even then it wouldn't affect the discharge rate.

I don't have MeterBerry. I notice my battery stays 100% longer when pulled off the charger.
