Has anyone else had a problem finding the second vendor file? I followed the steps

"On Windows Vista/7 navigate to C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML (Where "YOUR_USER" is your username)"

but under my user there is no AppData folder. Ive also done a general search on my comp for any vendor file and nothing shows up. I have downloaded the 7.1 software and deleted the first vendor file, but DM and Apploader still wont recognize the 7.1.... any suggestions?

well, I had the same problem and read each word closer! You have to do a help search on your computer and ask to turn on or show hidden files and folders. It is in the folder options>view>under advance settings you have to click show hidden files and folders. Save the setting and from there you should be able to use your path way and find the second vendor.xml
