Hey guys......

Just a question, and looking for some opinions. What's the difference between 7.0 and 7.1 really? Right now I am running 7.1 .0.649 and I can't go a day, no less 6 hrs w/o the battery dying. I'm to the point where i could care less about the "extras" i just want a decent battery life. Thanks.....

I'm running 7.1.0.580 on my 9930 and battery life has been way better than in the previous version. Just my experience.

on my 9930,without bridged it will go a good 10 to 12 hours, with PB 5 to 6 hours before need to recharge

same here.. after updating to 7.1 battery life was great. But now it's just terrible.

I've been running 7.1.0.580 on my 9930 for a few months without any problems and battery life is improved.

Well OS7.1 has battery saving mode and a hotspot option, so OS7.1 is better

OS 7.1.0.580 on Verizon has done wonders for my battery life, it was cool the first week or so to see the apps that I would leave open and the Application Resource monitor would shut down because they were using too many phone resources. I've been running this version since it was officially released by Verizon, so for about 2 months now. I've enjoyed noticeably better battery life, and better overall performance, with much less frequent resets/battery pulls. I use my phone sometimes as a mobile hotspot, that will drain the battery fairly quickly, but that's not a surprise, and I try to have the phone plugged in if I am going to be using the hotspot for an extended period of time. I would recommend 7.1 over 7.0 simply because of the added features like Mobile Hotspot and Application Resource Monitor, my experience on my 9930 has been great.
