i have not tried it, but i am pretty sure there is no chance. the 64s use a different format(sdxc vs. sdhc) and i am under the impression that current phones do not have the ability to read it. software update maybe
Always pushing the envelope, eh? 64 gigs is too scary for me to even think about in a phone. As it is...my phone takes about 20 minutes just to catalog my 19 gigs of music. I think it would sh** twice and die if I put a 64 in it

Reason: wrong number
HaHa. I'm gonna try it and report back. My understanding is that you have to reformat the card to FAT32 before it will work. I have a 32 gb card full with music and its still not enough space.
Ok, no dice. The 9930 will not access the card. I tried formatting and it just gave a fatal error. That's a let down.
I tried it in my Android phone and it worked as soon as I formatted it. Maybe a software update is all that's needed for the 9930 to use it. But for now, save your money.
a 32GB card works perfectly depends on brand, the prices may vary, but i couldn't care less.
and bought a 32GB Kingston Class4 right away. now i'm liek how can i even fill this card up.
I got a Kingston 32GB class 10 card for $45 on boxing day (online). I've seen SanDisc class 4's for $35 or so if I remember correctly. They've come down a lot.
This has all been discussed recently....You can get 32gigs for $30 and change on Amazon...and that's for SanDisk. Also you don't need class 4 because your phone can't utilize the speed.
Seriously, I think 16gb is more than enough for a BB phone.
Not for me...I've got 19 gigs of just music. And the day has finally come...for the first time in my life...that I can carry with me everything I've ever wanted to listen to twice. Plus I've got 10+ gigs left over for anything else that comes along. Wow. If you told me in high school this day would come, I would have not believed you. Then again, when I was in HS...there were no cell phones...only doctors had them and they were installed in cars.
i remember my first smartphone was NOKIA 6260 and it came with 32MB MMC card.
and i never upgraded, because it was much enough for me.
...
i prefer dedicated devices for music and camera.
32GB is too much.
I have an 8GB card, 6GB on board storage. That is 14GB total (I might get a 16 or 32GB when it gets dirt cheap for more HD video recording). OP, why don't you try formatting the card using a GParted Live CD or live USB? That likely will work fine. I formatted my 80GB hard disk for FAT32. Only drawback is a 4GB file size limit for FAT32, maybe the new devices support NTFS or exFAT? Maybe ext2/3/4 or another filesystem. I suggest trying all of them to see if it'll even work. Once you lock it in, let us know!
