When will we get this thing in the US?
Anyone have any idea?

T-Mobile will probably pick it up but I doubt AT&T will sell it anytime soon.
I still have yet to see anything about a CDMA variant of the device?Perhaps life is just that...a dream and a fear. - 12-29-2011, 10:15 AM #4
Get one from Canada and unlock it. Thats what many US citizens did when the 9900 was released.

I haven't looked up the specs on the frequency bands, but will it support 3G on T-Mobile? (I want to avoid AT&T)

■Network UMTS: 2100/900 MHz GSM: 1900/1800/900/850
These are the specs of the one I'm buying (bringing into Australia from Hong Kong). Don't know how that would work on T-Mobile. - 12-30-2011, 05:47 PM #13
I sure hope this happens and by some divine grace that it comes to AT&T (or a carrier where it works on AT&T.) I'm just not comfortable shelling out a ton of cash for something no-term and unlocked from some third party company or even from carriers outside of the US.

Seems like this would make a great secondary device. Just can't justifying paying for an unlocked overseas model that may or may not work here (not to mention the high price tag for one).
