Today I was removing some old apps in App World and realized I tapped on DELETE instead of UNINSTALL.

I never noticed that choice before but is there a difference or will they both do a complete uninstall of the App?

Uninstall removes it from your phone, delete removes it from your App World list.

    thanks.

however it does seem like DELETE removes it from the phone because the app no longer shows up in app manager

Uninstall removes the app from your phone, but leaves it in your Uninstalled list in My World for an easy reinstall should you later wish.
Delete removes the app from your phone, and from all your lists in My World. If you want to reinstall that app later, you'll have to search for it again.
