I don't know how much does it cost to replace the LCD from an iphone but I recently pay $140 dollars to replace the LCD of my 9790 because I drop it and it crashed.

My carrier wants $260 dollars for the LCD I buy a better price in repair phone shop.

Does some one knows where can I order the main shell of the 9790, it is not broken but it has some scratches.

I just replaced the digitizer on my 9810 for 10 bucks. The cost of a LCD for it was 40. I bought the digitizer from ebay and did the work myself. For a full housing check cnn.cn or check ebay.

your carrier wants $260 dollars for the LCD?? For that amount you can get a gently used 9790 on ebay.
anyway if you are willing to try to fix the phone yourself parts can be found on ebay for cheap

Ike1, I cracked my LCD as well. Bezel stayed in tact (surprisingly). I paid $135 including tax and install so you're in the right price range if you get it fixed outside of your carrier. Hope that helps!

I would like to get some feedback from fellow Berridians that ordered 9810 housing from cnn.cn. I have been on edge to order but keep thinking something will not fit right. Thx for any reply that comes.
