Problem see title...I have no idea, tried to search the net for a solution but can't find anything. Unfortunately, I am on the other side of the globe from where I bought the device, so not sure if warranty is an option.

I've experienced the EXACT same problem, so you're definitely not alone on this. Fortunately my 9900 was still under warranty so I swapped it for a new one. Sorry I can't help.

Try searching for the "microphone stopped working" topic and try the solution posted there
