Noticed something when I did the battery analyze on the .402. I m with WIND Canada. Without wifi enable my battery drain was 10% with Wifi 1%. Almost similar use......is that normal? If not what can be causing such a wide difference?

    Thanks

You are probably not in a 3g area or at the edge of one, so your phone is constantly roaming / searching for 3g.
Try switching to 2g only and see what that does for your battery

Thanks Wildcard, Yea could be, my AWS carrier (WIND Canada) is not known for its best reception. I did though, most of the time have coverage. But maybe the quality was low. Could it be the .402 is just bad for my carrier in that it doesn't work well with WIND frequency?

I guess i ll keep it for a week or so and if its doesn't work properly go back to the 7.0.609 from WIND which came with the phone.

    Thanks for help

No worries, butfor the record, it's not the os 402
My guess is still the reception of the network.
When i am in areas with bad reception, the battery drains fast too when i don't mark the 2G only.

    Goodluck!
