Question maybe converted to the 9790

Just a few questions. Im an iphone user which is currently switched off because i hate so much. in 2010 or 11 I had a bold 9650 or somthing like that. Which I didnt keep due to eye strain neck ache from over using and not doing much with it. I sent it back and was with my old broken samsung e900 untill september last year. got the iphone which i Hate! Ive spent the last few weeks trailing the net for somthing similer and as smart as an old d900 samsung and non touch screen. No luck!!

I was wonderingh if with the os 7 you can stop the pull down bar at the top and also can you switch off the touchscreen on the 9790 devise?

I hate to follow fashion usually and watching people with a phone espcially a bb duz drive me nuts. However this is a sleek looking devise. But id love to know can i switch off alot of the bits and bobs. Like notification bar etc.

I do like a simple phone but I cant find much out there and it will mean me buying a phone from ebay or my high street that is 4 years old.

Bold 9900 to big and reminds me of the iphone cos of the weight. Old bold 9750 etc. I had and wasnt overly keen and everyone has it.

the new curves look plasticy and for teens and the pearl im only keen on the old trackball version. i just hate touch screen.

Im hunting around on youtube looking at 9750 reviews and i may be converted :s I hate iphone apps and maybe all apps. I only want the phone to pick up calls. oh and last question do the new bb os 7 phones have fm radio???

Also are there any iphone4 users who switched or returned to a bb?

From your initial post, it would appear that any smartphone is not for you. Look for a simple talk and text phone and save yourself some cash.
