downloaded looks fine you can change led notification from sounds and alerts menu yellow blue etc. also new map interface. when you hold menu button it shows on top switch application you can see more info in 9900 forum.

Same change like the 9900 ... some customisation ... light led ... new applications task manager ( when you press long home button ) ... for the battery no comment for the moment... the interface is really fluid ... i have bbm music and when i scroll my music or my 500 contact ... i don't have lag anymore... is just like to have a dual core processor ;p !

Webpage ... little slow than the 714 but better than the 569 ... edit : finally better than the 714 ;p !
BlackBerry Maps seems to have an updated UI (bar at the bottom of screen) ( but still miss some 2 years old road ... lol only Google is updated ;p )
i don't have some issues like others 9900 users ( i always clean my bb before installed a new os ... and restore my apps after )
Call quality is great like the 714 ;p !
Signal bar is really best adjusted ... and rf performance is a little better than others o.s

If the battery is better or equal to the 569 ! ... This is the best for the momemt !

Search vendelete+, extract and run, should take care of both of them, also download, and removed the current OS. then your good to go.

i use win8 and everything ok. i dont know you guys how you couldnt find the files. by the way if u didnt make clear installation on win8 there must be windows.old folder in C driver. check this out for lost vendor file

With all these updates i think by now RIM should do something about the spinning clock, my phone hangs alot after a full day of usage. Although its much better with this new update and battery life slightly improved as well.

For battery life ... mmmm for the first day ... this is the better version for me ... better than my 569 ;p ... i just wait my mugen 1500 and now i don't have any fear to have zero battery at the end of the day ;p !

just noticed something! the trackpad and 4 buttons lights go off just how they used to on the factory os7 (i remember) so the keyboard lights fade out, then the screen, then the four buttons and then the trackpad! not much but oh well hahah

finally found a big issues for me... quality over Bluetooth stereo via tune in radio pro are really bad ... really strange ;( reinstall many times ... no change

Installed it and it's been running well for the last day. Battery life seems slightly shorter than .714. The LED option is basic; not a good substitute for a 3rd party app imo. All my apps are working fine.

How many more times are you going to ask that same question?
There is no FM radio on the 9790, that's only on the new Curves. Mobile Hotspot is present in all OS7.1 versions, but it may be restricted by your carrier.
